Client Service & Collections Officer | Asset Finance (B2B / Commercial credit)

Join an established and highly regarded financial services business based in North Sydney, operating within the asset finance sector.
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with collections or client service experience who is looking to move away from high-volume consumer collections into a more professional, relationship-led B2B environment.
The Role:
Working closely with an established portfolio of business clients, you will manage client enquiries, arrears and payment discussions while maintaining a robust focus on service and long-term relationships.
This is not a traditional transactional collections role.
The emphasis is on understanding each client's circumstances, working collaboratively to resolve issues and identifying practical solutions that support both the client and the business.
Your responsibilities will include:




Managing inbound client enquiries via phone and emailConducting skilled collections and arrears discussions with business customersWorking with clients to agree appropriate payment solutionsMaintaining accurate account notes and client recordsPreparing and submitting weekly arrears reportingLiaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve account queriesProviding a high level of service throughout every client interaction
So who are you?
Previous' experience across collections, credit, client service or accounts receivableStrong communication skills and confidence dealing with business clientsA professional, consultative and solutions-focused approachStrong attention to detail and accuracyConfidence using CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeThe ability to build rapport while managing sometimes challenging conversationsA collaborative working style and strong personal integrity
Experience within asset finance, lending, financial services or another B2B workplace would be highly regarded.
