The Business Intelligence Developer is a key foundation of this value, responsible for providing analytical and technical support for analytics and business intelligence activities.
This role develops reports, dashboards and interactive data visualizations to support educational & business decisions and gain key insights into opportunities.




In addition this role contributes to data modeling as well as administration of business intelligence systems.Essential Criteria4 + years developing and administering data services and pipelinesExcellent knowledge of and experience concerning the cyber security implications of data servicesHighly defined analytical, and problem solving skills, and demonstrated experience with complex incidentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to:Build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and colleaguesPrepare documentation and plans, develop procedures, etcCommunicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholdersExcellent organisational skills including attention to detail, highly effective time management and ability to prioritise between multiple projectsThe ability to work collaboratively as a highly effective team-member as well as work autonomously and take ownership of issues and projectsIf remote, willingness to travel for key meetings & events.Desirable CriteriaBachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or similarExperience with Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, Dell BoomiExperience with Business Intelligence development and administrationExperience working in dynamic and geographically distributed teamsExperience in an educational environmentSalary & BenefitsSalary $131,884 gross per annum (excludes super)Additional paid time off between Christmas and New YearFinancial support for further studyGenerous professional development budgetWork from home up to 2 days per week (for in person)* Salary rate effective from 12 October ****.LocationCatholic Schools Office, Armidale orACS Tamworth Hub, Tamworth orRemote (Northern NSW)For more information visit Armidale Catholic Schools website job-vacancies/
