MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-known global retail brand to find an HR Support professional to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive HR team during a key peak period, gaining hands-on exposure across a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and case management.
You'll be involved in everything from day-to-day HR support and employee queries through to ER matters, investigations, grievances and supporting managers, giving you the opportunity to build your HR experience in a large, fast-paced organisation.What's in it for you?

You'll play a key role in supporting the HR team across a varied HR & ER caseload,



including:Reviewing and drafting Records of DiscussionSupporting and conducting ER investigationsPreparing investigation scripts and meeting notification lettersDrafting investigation outcome lettersResponding to employee grievancesSupporting managers through lower-level ER mattersAssisting with time & attendance, abandonment, conduct and inappropriate behaviour casesProviding broader HR support across a busy and high-volume environmentWhat we're looking forWe're looking for someone who:Has previous experience in HR, HR Advisory or Employee Relations supportHas some exposure to ER investigations and ideally has run investigationsIs confident dealing with sensitive and sometimes challenging employee mattersHas excellent written communication and attention to detailCan work confidently in a fast-paced, high volume environmentHas Workday experience – highly regardedHas experience with Award interpretation – idealComes from a retail or similarly quick-paced environment – a bonusWhy this role?
