You will support all aspects of environmental management across an underground mining operation, with a strong focus on waste management, environmental compliance and site-based environmental activities.
Working an 8/6 roster, you will help coordinate and deliver environmental requirements across the operation.
You will bring together environmental data, systems and activities to support effective Environmental Assurance System (EAS) requirements.
This is a hands-on site-based opportunity where you will work closely with operational teams to maintain compliance and drive practical environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate environmental activities across the underground mining operationManage waste streams, including waste trench requirements and complianceSupport Environmental Assurance System (EAS) requirements and reportingMonitor environmental compliance and identify areas for improvementWork with operational teams to implement environmental controlsMaintain environmental records, documentation and reportingSupport audits, inspections and environmental assurance activities
About you
Proven background in environmental management within miningStrong understanding of waste management and environmental complianceExperience working in an underground mining environmentStrong capability in environmental assurance and reporting systemsEffective communicator who can work collaboratively with site teamsPractical approach to identifying and managing environmental risks
