We now have casual opportunities availablefor community-orientated Customer Experience Officers to be the first point ofcontact for our visitors and deliver exceptional customer service while alsoundertaking wide-ranging administration duties at our Centres.
The role
As a Casual Customer Experience Officer,you will be the face of our Community Centres ensuring that every interactionis positive, welcoming, and impactful. You will enhance the customers'experience through a warm, caring, and proficient manner, integral to helpingshape the way we assist the community now and into the future.
Reporting to our Community CentresCoordinator you will work closely with the team to support a cohesive andcollaborative work environment. Responsibilities include reception desk,administrative tasks, answering telephones, addressing customer enquiries,resolving complaints,
facility and technology set up, cash handling, supportingprogram and venue hire bookings and general data entry.
You may also assist in the running ofcommunity events and programs, ensuring they operate smoothly and are ahigh-quality experience for attendees.
These casual roles require flexibility asthey cover community centre operations and periods of limited staffing.
What are We Looking For?
These are excellent opportunities forcandidates with strong administrative and customer service skills to contributeto the heart and soul of our communities, and to gain quality local governmentexperience in a diverse and inclusive team setting.
Candidates for this position will have provenexperience in customer service, preferably within a community or public servicesetting. A Certificate 3 level or higher in Community Services, Business Administrationor Event Management will be highly valued.
These positions require you to demonstratethe following attributes:
Proven experience in managing a busy reception with face-to-face communication, telephone, email and cash handling.
Commitment to provide high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Proficiency in information technology and software and familiarity with customer management systems
Ability to setup/pack down facilities ( which may includemanual handling tasks), along with troubleshooting skills, specifically with regards to electronic presentations.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise conflicting activities/tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

To fulfil therequirements of this position it is essential that you have:
the availability and flexibility to work across our regular opening hours Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm, along with some out of hours work to accommodate evening and weekend events
a current driver's licenceand access to a reliable vehicle as shifts may be rostered across any of our 4 community centres and may require travel between locations.
the legal right to work in Australia, with the ability to provide documentation of a valid work visa.
These are Prescribed positions, and successfulcandidates will be required to undertake relevant(Child/Vulnerable/Aged/Disability) DHS Screen(s) and Child Safe EnvironmentTraining, along with a National Police Clearance and applicable medical assessment.
