Centre Manager - Early Childhood | Melbournes Inner West

Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting for an experienced
Centre Manager
to lead a large, Exceeding, established early learning service in Melbourne's Inner West.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader who can
hit the ground running, provide stability through a period of change, and lead a team with confidence, warmth and purpose
.
The Opportunity

Centre Manager
Location:
Yarraville, VIC
Employment type:
Permanent, full-time
Hours:
40 hours per week
Salary:
$118,000-$135,000 + superannuation dependant on experience
Additional benefits:

The service is well established and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to make a genuine impact across
team leadership, service operations, quality and compliance, and relationships with children and families
.
About the Role
As Centre Manager, you will provide strong and visible leadership across a large, multi-room early learning service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting a large early childhood team
Providing stability, direction and encouragement during a period of change
Building strong, professional relationships with children, families and the wider community
Driving high-quality educational practice and positive outcomes for children
Maintaining strong compliance with the
National Quality Framework (NQF)
and relevant legislation
Overseeing the effective day-to-day operation of the service
Managing workforce planning, rostering and staffing requirements
Supporting staff performance, development and engagement




Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Promoting a positive culture where children, families and educators feel valued and supported
About You
You will be an experienced and confident early childhood leader who is ready to take ownership of a large service and make an immediate impact.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in a
Centre Manager, Centre Director or equivalent leadership role
A Bachelor in Early Childhood or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA
Strong people leadership and team management capability
The ability to build trust and rapport quickly
Confidence managing operational and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A genuine commitment to high-quality outcomes for children
The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a changing environment
Strong knowledge of the
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
and National Quality Framework
