Two to three days a week, in our Richmond office, with hours that can work around the rest of your life.
School hours are completely fine. We're a Melbourne SEO agency that's been going for more than 18 years.
We're specialists by choice: we do SEO properly, we build long-term client relationships, and we try to leave the industry better than we found it.We're looking for someone to take care of the things that keep our office running well.
Everything from supplies and maintenance through to our sustainability commitments and the stuff that makes the team enjoy being here. This is deliberately a smaller role.
It's not a full office management function with a big remit, and you won't be sitting on reception.
It's varied, hands‐on work for someone who likes making a space run smoothly and would rather get on with it than wait to be told what to do.What you'll doKeep the office running day to day, from supplies and maintenance to the plants and the general feel of the spaceStay on top of workplace health and safety basics like fire extinguishers, first aid kits and the related compliance checksSupport our leadership team with travel bookings and other ad hoc adminHelp accounts with processing invoices and employee reimbursementsGet recent starters set up, including laptop and desk logistics and a welcome giftBe first point of call for IT and equipment issues, and liaise with our external provider when something needs escalatingOrganise our quarterly offsites,
including venues and cateringTake over our daily team update, sharing what's happening across the teamKeep our B Corp and 1% for the Planet commitments on track, and help run the odd event around themHelp coordinate team events and social activities, and make sure birthdays and work anniversaries don't get missedBe the main contact for suppliers, tradespeople and other externalsSpot things that could be done better, rather than just keeping them ticking overWhat we're looking forExperience in office administration, as an EA or PA, in a studio coordinator role or something similarAgency or professional services experience is a bonus, not a requirementOrganised and proactive, and comfortable juggling a lot of small things independentlyA genuine interest in sustainability, or the enthusiasm to learnHappy working autonomously and picking up where you left off each time you're inLiving locally to Richmond would be idealWhy OptimisingMeaningful part-time work that fits around your other commitments, in a role where you'll actually be noticedAn independent agency of around 13 people, so what you do makes a visible differenceB Corp certified and a proud member of 1% for the Planet, which we back with real time and money rather than a logo on the websiteDirect access to the founders, who are closely involved and genuinely care how the team is goingA social, connected team with quarterly activities, weekly wrap‐ups and team lunches built into how we work
