Behind every service experience is a dedicated support team ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.We're currently seeking an experienced Collections Officer to join our Finance team in Rhodes and take ownership of a diverse Accounts Receivable portfolio.About the RoleReporting to the Invoice to Collect Manager, you'll manage an assigned ledger and play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow across our business.
This is a hands-on role that blends collections expertise, stakeholder management, and customer service.You will:Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts and achieve collection targetsFollow up overdue accounts through proactive communication and payment resolutionReconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming paymentsGenerate statements and invoicesHandle customer queries and service ticketsWork closely with internal stakeholders across multiple business divisionsMaintain accurate collection records and documentationEnsure compliance with company policies and ACCC debt collection guidelinesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable functionAbout YouWe're looking for a confident and professional collections specialist who can balance commercial outcomes with outstanding customer service.To be successful, you'll bring:Minimum 5 years' experience in Collections, Credit Control or Accounts ReceivableStrong understanding of:Debt collection processesAccounts ReceivableAccount reconciliationsPayment allocationKnowledge of ACCC Debt Collection GuidelinesStrong communication skills and confidence handling sensitive conversationsIntermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook skillsExperience with accounting or ERP systems (Oracle experience highly regarded)Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesA collaborative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional serviceWhy Join InvoCare?
