A well-established meat processor exporting to markets across the globe is looking for a switched-on coordinator to take ownership of transport and loadouts.The roleYou'll be the link between the plant and its customers, organising how product leaves the site and where it's going.
It's around 90% coordination and 10% planning.
You'll work alongside the planning team, but this is a stand-alone seat, so you'll have real ownership of your day.
The planning side is looking ahead and working out how much stock is needed days to weeks in advance, so nothing gets caught short.You'll start on the PM shift to learn the operation from the ground up, then move across to the AM shift once you're settled.What you'll be doingCoordinating transport and loadouts for export and domestic productOrganising where product is heading and making sure it gets there on timeWorking with the planning team to forward plan stock requirementsLiaising with carriers,



shipping contacts and internal teamsLearning the export container and shipping process, including EMTCsAbout youA background in transport coordination, logistics or loadout planningMeat industry experience strongly preferred.
Knowing the product makes the pace much easier to handleAble to think ahead and plan stock needs in advanceCalm, organised and effective under pressureStrong communicator and a genuine team playerKnowledge of Brisbane areas and interstate routes is a plusUnderstanding of export EMTCs is a plus, but a willingness to learn the export container and shipping process is what mattersHoursMonday to Friday plus some SaturdaysAM shift starts at 4am (3am on Mondays) and finishes around 2pmSome overtime requiredInitial training period on the PM shiftWhat's in it for youA stand-alone role with genuine ownershipStructured training, with a planned move from PM to AMThe chance to build real export and shipping expertise in a quick-moving meat operation
