This role is hands-on and suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes ownership of stock accuracy and warehouse organisation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInwards goods receipting – checking goods against invoices and purchase ordersReceiving stock into OPTO inventory systemRepackaging goods where required and applying correct part number labelsAllocating and putting stock away into designated locationsProcessing orders including picking,
packing and preparing shipmentsActioning pick lists generated by the Warehouse Operators as requiredMaintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systemsConducting regular stocktakes and cycle countsCompleting local deliveries and pickupsActing as backup delivery driver and assisting with overflow or urgent deliveriesMaintaining a clean, organised and WHS-compliant stores areaGeneral warehouse duties and ad hoc tasksBENEFITS AND PERKSSupportive and safety-focused work environmentCareer development and training opportunitiesOpportunity to work with a reputable and growing OEM companySKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSSeeking individuals interested in interesting and challenging work.
To be considered, candidates should possess:Manual HR Driver's Licence (essential)Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)Previous experience in a stores or warehouse roleExperience using inventory management systems (OPTO experience highly regarded)Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, invoices and parts listsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication skills and ability to work within a teamUnderstanding of safe manual handling practicesMust be able to pass a drug & alcohol testing
