$40–$45 per hour + overtimeLAFHA per day when applicableTPG & Optus projectsPermanent | 38 hours per week + overtimeSecond Man RiggerHRG is currently recruiting an experienced Second Man Rigger to join an established telecommunications delivery business working across major carrier network projects.This is a permanent position based out of Yatala, with ongoing work across Optus and TPG programs and the prospect to build further experience across 4G/5G deployment, upgrades and maintenance.The role You'll work as part of an experienced field crew delivering installation, upgrade and maintenance works across telecommunications towers and rooftop sites.Your work will include:Installing antennas, RRU/RRH equipment, feeders and hybrid cablingInstalling tower and pole structures, mounts and associated steelworkWorking from construction drawings, steelwork assemblies and plumbing diagramsEarthing, labelling, cable termination and re-terminationTower upgrades, maintenance and structural strengtheningSupporting fault finding and equipment rectificationPIM, Site Master and spectrum analyser testingFibre testing using fibrescope and light source equipmentWorking across Optus,
TPG and Telstra network environmentsExposure to Ericsson, Nokia and Huawei equipmentWhat we're looking forYou'll already have practical telecommunications rigging experience and be comfortable working at height in active network environments.Ideally you'll hold:Australian Driver LicenceWhite CardWorking at HeightsTower Rescue / Rope AccessFirst Aid & CPRRADHAZ AwarenessHigh Risk Work Licence – Rigging/DoggingEWP ticketRelevant Optus, TPG and/or Telstra inductionsExperience working to carrier specifications, HSE requirements and telecommunications construction standards will be highly regarded.
