Mitchelton Wines is seeking a dedicated and professional Night Manager to join our hospitality team on a part-time basis.
Based at our location in Nagambie, Victoria, this role is crucial to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service during evening hours and overnight stays.
As Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations during night shifts, managing guest relations, and maintaining the highest standards of service that reflect our commitment to hospitality excellence.
This position plays a vital role in safeguarding our guests' comfort and safety whilst upholding Mitchelton Wines' reputation for outstanding customer care.Key responsibilitiesOversee all front office and guest services operations during night shifts, ensuring smooth and productive service deliveryManage guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism, warmth and attention to detailAddress guest inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues in a manner that prioritises guest satisfactionCoordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest rooms and facilities meet required standardsMonitor and control night shift staffing, providing direction and support to team members as neededMaintain accurate records of guest information,



transactions and incidents during your shiftConduct security patrols and ensure the property is secure throughout the nightHandle cash and financial transactions securely and accuratelyReport on operational issues and provide handover information to day managementPromote Mitchelton Wines' wine offerings and dining experiences to guests, providing recommendations and informationWhat we're looking forProven experience in front office or guest services roles, ideally within hospitality, hotels, resorts or similar establishmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleaguesExcellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and professional under pressureDemonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities whilst maintaining attention to detailProficiency with hotel management systems and point-of-sale technologySound knowledge of hospitality operations, guest service standards and health and safety protocolsReliability, discretion and a professional demeanour befitting a luxury hospitality environmentCustomer service certification or hospitality qualification is desirable but not essentialExperience in wine or food and beverage environments would be advantageousFirst Aid certificatePlease note this role is 4 nights a week - Thursday until Sunday.
