We are seeking a Design and Business Development Assistant to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative mechanical louvre window solutions, combining design, manufacturing, and project coordination.Key Responsibilities:Design & Development:Assist in the finalisation of louvre designsDraw and sequence louvre components for machining using AutoCADPrepare prototypes and associated drawings for approvalCheck shop drawings, panel layouts, glass sizes, and hardware compatibilityUnderstand louvre mechanisms, including motors and BMS integration for fire and ventilation systemsProcurement & Production Planning:Prepare parts lists and cutting sheetsConduct material take-offs, optimisations, and track material usageOrganise material procurement, fabrication, and delivery to siteOrder and manage factory consumablesPlan factory production and logistics to meet project deadlinesOperate and maintain CNC machineryDesign and manufacture jigs for factory and site useProject Coordination & Logistics:Check incoming purchase orders and prepare delivery dockets for site deliveriesLiaise with project managers and site crews to coordinate deliveriesAttend in-house project meetings,
