As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and supporting our GPs in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community.
This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.Key responsibilitiesAssisting GPs with clinical procedures and examinationsTaking patient histories and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weightAdministering vaccinations and immunisations in accordance with current guidelinesProviding patient education on health conditions and preventative health measuresManaging wound care, dressing changes, and minor injury treatmentSupporting chronic disease management programmes and follow-up careMaintaining accurate and confidential patient recordsEnsuring the clinical environment is clean, safe, and well-stocked with necessary suppliesContributing to the smooth operation of the practice through effective teamworkWhat we're looking forCurrent registration with the AHPRAQualification as a Registered Nurse (RN)
