Beecroft General Practice is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Medical Receptionists to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a critical front-line position that plays an essential role in delivering excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming and professional environment whilst managing administrative tasks that support the effective functioning of the practice.
This casual position is based in Beecroft NSW ****.What you'll be doingGreeting patients with a warm, professional and courteous manner upon arrival at the practiceAnswering telephone enquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff membersScheduling and confirming patient appointments using practice management softwareProcessing patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient recordsCollecting patient fees and processing payments using secure payment systemsManaging waiting room procedures and maintaining a clean, organised reception areaHandling patient enquiries regarding test results, prescriptions and general practice informationCoordinating with clinical staff to ensure patient flow and appointment schedules run smoothlyPerforming general administrative duties including filing, photocopying and data entryFollowing confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with healthcare regulationsAssisting with reception coverage during busy periods and staff absencesWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working in a medical reception or healthcare administrative environment, or equivalent customer service experienceProficiency with practice management software and general computer systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients,
