Final Touch Joinery Pty Ltd - Kenthurst NSWThe Draftsperson / Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of joinery drawings, cabinet designs, cutting lists and production information using Mozaik and/or CAD.
The role ensures that project information is clear, accurate and ready for production, while also providing project coordination support to help jobs progress efficiently from drafting through production, installation and handover.
The role works closely with the Director, office, sales, factory and installation teams.Key responsibilitiesCreate cabinet designs, cutting lists and detailed production drawings using Mozaik and/or CADPrepare accurate drawings and production information suitable for manufacture and installationEnsure measurements, layouts, dimensions, hardware selections, materials and specifications are accurately reflected in drawingsReview project information and identify drawing, design, specification or measurement issues before production commencesMaintain consistent drawing standards, naming conventions and digital job filesUpdate drawings and production documentation when variations,



revisions or changes ariseIssue revised drawings and ensure current information is clearly identified and communicated to relevant team membersWork collaboratively with the factory and installation teams to resolve drawing, design or production issuesProvide project coordination support to help jobs progress efficiently from drafting through production, installation and handoverMonitor the progress of assigned jobs and identify potential delays, missing information or issues that may affect production or installationProvide hands on assistance on the factory floor when required.About youExperience as a Draftsperson, CAD operator, Mozaik operator or similar role within the joinery/cabinetry industryPractical understanding of custom joinery manufacturing and installation processesAbility to read and interpret architectural, joinery and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, drawings and competing prioritiesStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable: Robust experience using Mozaik software, CAD experience, experience with CNC manufacturing processes, Certificate 3 in Cabinet Making, own vehicle (ute or van), experience with project management or production management software, current Driver Licence, Forklift Licence, First Aid Certificate
