About the role
We are looking for a compassionate
Provisional Psychologist
to join our Allied Health team in Logan on a full-time fixed-term contract until July ****.
In this role, you'll deliver evidence-based, time-limited psychological therapies while contributing to multidisciplinary case consultations.
You'll support people experiencing mental health challenges, psychosocial disability and complex support needs through outreach, telehealth and in-person appointments using strengths-based, recovery-oriented approaches.

About the service
The Allied Health service delivers a range of specialist supports and clinical services to help clients with complex mental health needs and dual disabilities achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.
Through a multidisciplinary team, services include brief interventions, psychological therapies, mental health counselling, vocational assistance, and access to service provider networks.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions tailored to individual client needs.
Provide person-centred, recovery-focused therapeutic support using strengths-based approaches.
Participate in team-based practice support, reflective practice and multidisciplinary case discussions.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and external stakeholders to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation while contributing to continuous service improvement and quality practice.
What you'll bring




Tertiary degree qualifications in Psychology or other health related field with provisional or eligibility for provisional registration with AHPRA.
Experience delivering therapeutic support through placements or professional practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of the NDIS, community mental health sector, and recovery-oriented practice is desirable.
A current unrestricted driver's licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle for outreach work (kilometre reimbursement provided).
