Base salary range: $99,040 – $104,669 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Campus Management is responsible for the planning, development, management and operation of UWA's physical estate and infrastructure.
Through integrated property, facilities, asset management, capital works and operational services, the team provides safe, sustainable and effective environments that support teaching, research and community engagement.
Within Infrastructure Maintenance, this role is dedicated to supporting the residential communities of Crawley Village and Forrest Hall.
Working closely with residents, stakeholders, contractors and service providers, you will help ensure facilities are well-maintained, compliant, welcoming and fit for purpose.
About the opportunity
Coordinate reactive and planned preventative maintenance programs across residential facilities, ensuring compliance, safety, asset reliability and service excellence.
Act as the primary facilities liaison for residents and stakeholders, managing maintenance priorities, contractor performance, cleaning services and estate-related operations while ensuring high-quality service delivery and exception resident experience.
Conduct inspections, audits and asset management activities while providing expert advice on maintenance, repairs and minor works, monitoring estate-related issues and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and.
About you
Qualifications in a relevant trade discipline or equivalent experience and competency, along with a current,
valid WA Working with Children card.
Substantial experience in coordinating building maintenance and services, with demonstrated organisations skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Ability to support preventive maintenance as a strategy in maintaining University facilities and equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and associated control systems.
Highly developed communication skills and the ability to interact in a positive manner with the campus community and stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Ability to read and interpret Australian Standards, BCA, federal, state and local codes, and apply sound judgement to maintenance and compliance-related issues.
Note
