About the Role
The Registered Nurse as a Clinical Research Coordinator at AW Morrow Gastroenterology and Liver Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is an integral member of the clinical research team.




The role combines nursing skills and expertise in planning, implementation, coordination and data management of research projects including clinical trials conducted within the Centre.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practice guideline, privacy laws, regulatory and ethical issues in clinical research
Use critical thinking and problem solving to analyse nursing practice to provide safe, appropriate and quality support to research trial participants.
Demonstrate strong skills in planning and organisation with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within scheduled timeframes.
