About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.
You will provide assessment and intervention services to clients with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties, including paediatric and adult caseloads.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
Provide evidence-based intervention for speech, language, literacy, and social communication difficulties
Work with clients presenting with developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, stuttering, and other communication challenges
Conduct feeding and swallowing assessments and provide mealtime management plans
Develop individualised therapy goals in collaboration with clients and their support teams
Deliver services in clinic, home, school, and via telehealth
Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, and other team members
Prepare reports and documentation for NDIS and other funding bodies
About You
Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
Experience working with paediatric and/or adult clients
Knowledge of NDIS processes and requirements preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
