About the role
As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your room, providing leadership, guidance and support to educators and ensuring a high-quality learning environment for children.
Working closely with the Educational Leader, you will:
Lead the planning, implementation and reflection of an engaging play-based program
Develop learning experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths and abilities
Support educators to deliver the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and educators
Promote inclusive practice and celebrate diversity
Support children's wellbeing, safety and development
Ensure programming, observations and documentation meet regulatory and quality standards
Provide leadership and contribute to a positive team culture
Work within the National Quality Standard, National Regulations and Child Safe requirements
About you
You'll be a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher who enjoys leading, mentoring and creating an workplace where children can thrive.
You will bring:
A recognised Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Teaching
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications
Current Working with Children Check
Child Protection training
Strong understanding of child safety and mandatory reporting
The ability to lead and support a team of educators
A genuine commitment to quality early childhood education
