About the Role: Join an expanding Regulatory Division within a Federal Government organisation responsible for supporting the integrity of Australia's electoral system.
As an APS5 Investigator, you will support risk-based investigations into potential breaches of electoral legislation, gathering and analysing information to identify high-risk behaviours and activity.
You will work with a range of information and data, contribute to investigation findings and prepare clear written documentation to support regulatory decision-making.
Responsibilities: Assist with gathering, analysing and documenting information for regulatory investigations Review information, records and data to identify potential non-compliance and high-risk activity Support investigations into potential anti-avoidance behaviours and schemes Prepare briefs, reports, correspondence and other investigation documentation Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure investigations are thorough, consistent and well documented About You: Experience in investigations, compliance, regulation, audit, assurance or a related environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess information and identify issues Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities A Certificate IV in Government Investigations or willingness to obtain one would be desirable About the Organisation:



The organisation is a Federal Government body responsible for supporting the integrity of Australia's electoral system.
Its Regulatory Division oversees financial disclosure, compliance, investigations and election funding activities, with the team expanding in response to significant changes to federal election funding and disclosure legislation.
The Next Step: To be successful, you must have unrestricted Australian working rights and be able to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance.
You will also be required to obtain a explicit National Police Check and meet the organisation's political neutrality and pre-employment requirements.
