Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Prospect Lead multidisciplinary rail signalling and communications works across Pilbara sites on a 14-days-on, seven-days-off FIFO roster.
Your Work • Direct supervisors, crews and contractors and allocate labour, plant, materials and equipment.
• Plan construction, monitor progress and implement recovery actions.
• Lead safety briefings, inspections and incident responses and manage environmental and delivery risks.
• Coordinate engineering, commercial and operational interfaces and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee testing, defect rectification and handover and support claims, variations, forecasts and resource planning.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • At least five years in a comparable construction role.
• Electrical A-grade licence and experience as an electrical nominee.
• Relevant construction-management qualification, trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Substantial rail, civil, mining, industrial or infrastructure delivery experience.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary crews and contractors and strong safety,
programme and resource-management skills.
• Current Western Australian driver licence.
• Pilbara rail-network exposure, investigation training, first aid and project-management certification are valued.
