Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity Deliver community engagement for water and wastewater infrastructure, with this project-specific position based on site in Elwood and a framework office in Canterbury.
Your Work • Develop engagement and communication plans that address construction impacts and community needs.
• Identify stakeholder issues and risks and advise delivery teams on appropriate responses.
• Prepare notices, presentations, web and social updates and formal correspondence.
• Coordinate resident discussions and information sessions and respond to project enquiries.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and construction teams and support milestone and community initiatives.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Relevant tertiary qualification or certificate, or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, journalism or stakeholder engagement.
• Three to five years providing strategic communications advice and services.
• Experience across community engagement,
stakeholder relations or related communications disciplines.
• IAP2 certificate.
• Construction-project or specialist engagement leadership is highly regarded.
