About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity Support the quality team on a large pumped-storage energy construction project.
The role concentrates on mechanical work packages and operates on a two-weeks-on, one-week-off fly-in/fly-out roster.
Your Work • Help maintain the project quality system and prepare inspection, sampling and testing procedures.
• Review subcontractor documentation and inspect site work against technical and quality requirements.
• Support audits, investigate non-conformances and follow corrective actions through to resolution.
• Monitor quality performance, report emerging risks and advise delivery teams on practical controls.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • A relevant degree in engineering, science, building, construction,
quality or project management.
• Ideally at least three years working as a quality representative on substantial construction works.
• Mechanical quality assurance experience and capability to develop and implement quality systems.
• Energy, power or resources project exposure is advantageous.
• Effective inspection, audit, reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
