Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Chance Support electrical pre-commissioning, testing and system turnover on a remote pumped-storage energy project.
The role works a 2:1 FIFO roster.
Your Work • Coordinate daily activities with construction teams, vendors and commissioning specialists.
• Inspect electrical systems and support loop checks, point-to-point and functional tests and energisation.
• Read schematics and technical records and assist with fault finding and verification.
• Track defects, punch lists and handover readiness and prepare test and turnover documentation.
• Support senior engineers with procedures and schedules and coordinate permits, isolations and equipment preservation.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience as an electrical site, graduate, project or commissioning engineer on major infrastructure, power, energy, industrial or resources works.
• Understanding of HV/MV/LV systems, drawings and commissioning processes.
• Testing, energisation or start-up exposure is highly regarded.




• Knowledge of permit-to-work and isolation controls and experience coordinating vendors or site crews.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving; availability for a remote 2:1 FIFO roster.
