Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Chance Lead finance and risk management for a major rail upgrade from the Beerburrum project site, supporting sound governance and commercial decisions.
Your Work • Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and cost performance.
• Oversee month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial administration.
• Maintain controls, compliance and contractual stakeholder-reporting obligations.
• Resolve audit queries and identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Lead the project finance team and improve finance, risk and administration systems.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, commerce, business or a related field.
• CA or CPA qualification is preferred.
• Extensive senior finance and team-leadership experience.
• Strong reporting, cost control, governance and commercial capability.
• Major construction or infrastructure experience, preferably rail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and support effective financial decisions.
