Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity Provide practical health, safety and environmental advice to rail project teams from a Seven Hills base.
Your Work • Maintain audit and inspection programmes and verify corrective actions.
• Support safe-work documentation and multidisciplinary hazard and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and close non-compliance issues efficiently.
• Work with project teams to improve operational performance and management systems.
• Communicate changes in applicable requirements and maintain clear compliance reporting.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Relevant safety-role experience and strong interpersonal skills; rail or transport exposure is desirable.
• Diploma in occupational health and safety or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and Certificate IV in Environmental Management.
• Investigation qualification, with ICAM or TapRoot desirable; occupational first-aid qualification.
• Lead-auditor qualification is advantageous.
• Experience developing safety-management systems and tools and strong Microsoft Office, reporting and document-interpretation skills.
