About the Role Build a varied property career as Council's go-to adviser on land and property.
Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, this standalone role covers leases and licences, land sales, plans of management, and Crown Land management, with full support to grow into Native Title.
Duties Negotiate lease renewals for communication towers and Council land Review titles, deposited plans, and zoning to confirm property status Update plans of management for community reserves Coordinate valuers, agents, and surveyors on land purchases and sales Keep Council's land, lease, and GIS registers up to date Skills Experience Experience in property, real estate, conveyancing, leasing, or land administration Qualification in Land Economics, Property, Town Planning, Business, or Legal Studies Confidence working with titles, leases, contracts, or plans Transparent written communication,
including report writing Australian working rights Benefits $90,****** - $103,****** p.a. + 12% super (up to $116,398 total package) 26 long weekends a year with a 9-day fortnight 4 weeks annual leave, 2 weeks sick leave, and 1 week MyLeave Relocation assistance and short-term rental subsidy for approved candidates Structured induction and training in Crown Land and Native Title About the Company At Tenterfield Shire Council, you will make a visible difference in a close-knit community.
