General Practice Nurse Part Time The Pines Medical Practice Elanora, Gold Coast Registered Nurse or Experienced Enrolled Nurse We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse or experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our general practice team.
This is a part-time position with two guaranteed days per week , plus additional shifts to cover annual leave and other staff absences.
Availability to provide leave cover is an important part of the role.
You will work alongside our doctors, nurses and reception team to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy practice.
Experience in general practice and familiarity with MedicalDirector software are desirable but not essential.
About the role Duties will be appropriate to your qualifications, experience and scope of practice, and may include: Childhood and adult immunisations Wound assessment,



dressings and ongoing care Supporting chronic disease management and care planning Health assessments ECGs and spirometry Ear irrigation and microsuction, where appropriately trained Patient triage Infection prevention and control, including instrument processing and sterilisation Assisting doctors with procedures Maintaining accurate clinical records Keeping treatment rooms clean, stocked and ready for use About you You will have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse Sound clinical knowledge, including wound care and immunisation Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach Excellent organisational and time management skills The ability to prioritise tasks and respond to changing patient needs A proactive, reliable approach and a commitment to completing daily responsibilities The ability to work collaboratively and support your colleagues A commitment to safe, respectful and patient-centred care
