Job Description About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity Run accurate, high-volume weekly payroll for a substantial construction workforce.
The initial base is St Marys, with flexibility required to work across other project locations.
Your Work • Validate time-and-attendance data and process hours, overtime, allowances, penalties and leave.
• Investigate employee queries and discrepancies with supervisors and attendance teams.
• Apply relevant awards and enterprise agreements and reconcile transferred payroll data.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare payroll checks, reports and audit evidence.
• Support system changes and practical improvements to payroll processes.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Proven end-to-end payroll experience and confidence handling high-volume weekly processing.
• Strong Kronos or comparable time-and-attendance experience.
• Ability to interpret awards and enterprise agreements and calculate hours, allowances, penalties and leave.
• Strong Excel, reconciliation, analytical and customer-service skills.
• Construction, infrastructure or large-workforce experience is highly regarded.
• Current driver licence, reliable vehicle and construction White Card; flexibility across project sites.
