About the Role: Join an expanding Regulatory Division within a Federal Government organisation responsible for supporting the integrity of Australia's electoral system.
As an APS6 Regulatory Officer, you will play a key role in reviewing financial disclosure returns, assessing complex election funding claims and identifying potential compliance issues.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working with complex information, applying sound judgement and providing clear regulatory advice.
You will also provide guidance and support to less experienced team members while contributing to a range of regulatory priorities.
Responsibilities: Independently review financial disclosure returns and supporting information Assess and review complex election funding claims Oversee and coordinate the processing and payment of election funding Lead the collection and analysis of information to identify potential non-compliance Analyse financial information and identify potential issues, including matters relating to foreign influence through financial contributions Prepare high-quality advice, correspondence and documentation Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members About You: Experience in regulatory compliance, financial audit, assurance or a related environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,



with the ability to assess complex information Sound judgement and the ability to provide clear advice on regulatory matters Solid written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work with a high degree of autonomy Confidence supporting and guiding less experienced team members A qualification or experience in accounting, finance or commerce would be desirable About the Organisation: The organisation is a Federal Government body responsible for supporting the integrity of Australia's electoral system.
Its Regulatory Division oversees financial disclosure, compliance, investigations and election funding activities, with the team expanding in response to significant changes to federal election funding and disclosure legislation.
The Next Step: To be successful, you must have unrestricted Australian working rights and be able to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance.
You will also be required to obtain a clear National Police Check and meet the organisation's political neutrality and pre-employment requirements.
