The Opportunity Independently check civil construction work against approved designs and quality standards on a major metropolitan road upgrade.
Your Work • Carry out routine surveillance and formal inspections at designated hold and witness points.
• Check materials and workmanship against drawings, specifications and applicable road-authority standards.
• Maintain inspection logs, photographs, checklists and supporting evidence.
• Escalate defects, unsafe practices and departures from approved methods promptly.
• Help delivery and quality teams track non-conformances to closure and participate in site briefings.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Experience in construction quality, verification, surveillance or delivery.
• Sound understanding of client standards,
specifications and quality-management requirements.
• Experience preparing, applying and reviewing inspection and test plans and testing requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong written communication and effective relationships with site teams, clients and subcontractors.
