We run a 5-axis 6kW fibre tube laser alongside a full fabrication workshop, serving clients across construction, mining, and industrial equipment.
We hold CC2 (AS/NZS ****) and ISO ****** certification.The roleWe're looking for a tube laser operator/programmer to take ownership of our tube laser cell.
Day to day you'll be:Programming and nesting parts from customer drawings and NC/STP filesSetting up and running the machine across RHS, SHS, pipe, angle, channel and beam sectionsLoading,



unloading and QA checking parts against drawingsCompleting dimensional check sheets and maintaining job paperworkBasic machine maintenance and consumables managementWorking with the workshop manager to schedule and prioritise jobsWhat we're afterExperience operating a tube laser or flatbed laser (tube laser preferred, but we'll train the right person coming from flatbed)Ability to read fabrication drawings confidentlyExperience with laser nesting/CAM software, or the aptitude to pick it up quicklyGood eye for quality and accuracy — parts go straight to fabrication or out the door to customersReliable, self-motivated, able to run the cell without someone standing over youForklift licence an advantageWhat's on offerFull-time permanent role, Monday to FridayModern machine and a busy, growing workload — you won't be standing aroundSmall, reliable team with direct access to management
