the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the required capabilities in the following areas:Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipmentStore the products in proper places in the intermodal parkTransport containers around Intermodal parkLoad containers in a protected and timely mannerSort and label containers as per company proceduresWeigh products and record weight and other data in product labelsMonitor and maintain accurate inventoryAble to load containers ensuring they are not damaged during handling operationsRefuel of the ForkliftAdministrative tasks in relation to monitor/management of containers leaving and entering the Intermodal yardTrack the movements of Containers within the yardPerform minor maintenance / service tasks on yard equipmentUse the man cage to disengage/engage twist locks on containers arriving on train unitsDesired Skills and ExperienceDesired Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Hold a current High Risk work license LF (Forklift)Hold a current High Risk work license CNHold a current High Risk Work license DG (Dogging) and/or RB Basic Rigging (includes dogging)First Aid QualificationCert III in Supply Chain or similarWorking knowledge of Rail industry including rail protocolsOther important informationWe reserve the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the stated closing date.The successful candidate will have to undertake an Australian Federal Police check and Pre-Employment Medical (for certain roles) which will be arranged and paid for by SCT.SCT is an equal opportunity employer and we recognise the value and importance of diversity.
