An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst to join the M&A; and Acquisitions team of a rapidly growing, private equity-backed property platform with global operations.With a substantial portfolio of property-backed operating assets, significant capital available for continued investment and a strong acquisition pipeline, the business is entering another exciting period of growth.Working directly with the Head of Investments & Corporate Finance, this role will provide genuine exposure across the investment lifecycle – assessing new opportunities, building financial models, supporting due diligence, preparing investment recommendations and helping execute acquisitions.This is a principal-side opportunity where you will be close to the decision-making and see the assets you assess ultimately acquired, developed and operated by the business.The opportunityYou will work across a broad pipeline of acquisition and investment opportunities, with responsibilities including:Financial modelling, valuation and investment analysisAssessment of acquisition and development opportunitiesCommercial and financial due diligenceAnalysis of both underlying property and operating business performancePreparation of investment papers, business cases and recommendationsScenario analysis, sensitivities and assessment of investment returnsSupporting transaction execution from initial assessment through to completionWorking closely with senior leadership and external advisers throughout the investment processOngoing analysis of portfolio and investment performanceImportantly, this is not a role for someone who wants to simply sit behind a financial model.




The successful candidate will be encouraged to understand the commercial drivers behind an investment, challenge assumptions and develop into a well-rounded investment professional.About youWe are open-minded on where the right person comes from.
You may currently be working within property investment, acquisitions, capital transactions, funds management, corporate finance, M&A;, valuations or a related investment environment.You will ideally bring:Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilityExperience assessing investments, transactions or development opportunitiesExposure to property, real estate or other asset-backed investmentsAn understanding of valuation, due diligence and investment returnsStrong commercial judgement and an ability to look beyond the numbersThe confidence to communicate your analysis and work with senior stakeholdersA proactive, curious and accountable approachTechnical capability is important, but equally significant will be your attitude and strength of character.
