With a robust pipeline of upcoming projects, Fybe is expanding its Power & Electrification capability and is seeking an experienced Design Delivery Manager to drive innovation and technical excellence across digital delivery.The OpportunityThis is a senior leadership role suited to a professional who combines technical expertise with maintaining strong client relationships across the project lifecycle.
You will lead the multidiscipline design teams across power and energy assets, driving governance and quality assurance.You will play a key role in shaping bid strategies and proposal development across water, wastewater, transport and industrial projects, while mentoring teams and advancing Fyfe's design capability across the business.ResponsibilitiesLead design delivery at concept functional and detailed design level with focus on outcomes rather than hands on productionOversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through design and delivery stagesDrive design excellence governance and quality assuranceLead work winning activities including bid strategy proposal development and client presentationsBuild and maintain strong client relationships positioning the business as a preferred partnerActively contribute to business development market intelligence and pipeline strategyManage senior stakeholder engagement as part of project lifecycle and client interfaceRepresent the business externally across pursuits delivery conversations and market forumsRequirementsEducation and Professional BackgroundTertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related disciplineMinimum 10 years' of experience in electrical design and delivery within the water, transport or industrial infrastructure sectorsProven track record managing large-scale, complex projectsDemonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and developing project management capabilityStrong commercial acumen with expertise in contract administration, risk management, and financial forecastingExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external clientsAdvanced knowledge of project management methodologies, systems, and toolsEI&C; design experience within the water industry experience is preferredTechnical and Industry KnowledgeDesign knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, control systems, and plant integrationProven capability in water, industrial, or infrastructure sectors with design and site experienceAbility to integrate advanced engineering principles and technologies to solve complex problemsPersonal AttributesStrong communication skills with the ability to influence clients and stakeholdersStrategic mindset with hands-on technical capabilityProven ability to lead teams and mentor engineers and drive design innovationWhy Join FyfeLead engineering design within a progressive Power & Electrification teamWork on impactful projects across utilities, government, and renewable energy sectorsBe part of a growing, multidisciplinary organisation with a national footprintJoin a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and professional developmentCompetitive remuneration package and clear career progression pathways
