Electrician – Non-Process InfrastructureIron Valley | Newman-based | 8/6 rosterWe are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team at Iron Valley, based out of Newman.
This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), supporting the secure, reliable operation of critical site services.This role is ideal for a practical, solutions-focused electrician with strong experience in generator maintenance and fault-finding, along with bore pump systems and wider NPI electrical infrastructure.The roleReporting to the NPI Supervisor, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment across site NPI assets.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on NPI electrical infrastructureDiagnosing and repairing faults on diesel generators, generator control systems and associated switchgearMaintaining, troubleshooting and repairing bore pumps, water supply systems and associated electrical controlsWorking across camp, village, workshop, communications, water, power generation and other site-services infrastructureCompleting electrical installations, testing,



commissioning and compliance checksResponding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise disruption to critical site servicesEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety requirements, electrical standards and maintenance proceduresAccurately recording maintenance activities, inspections and work completed in the site maintenance systemContributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset reliability and safetyWhat you will bringWA Electrical Worker's LicenceCurrent Australian driver's licenceDemonstrated experience as an electrician in a mining, resources, industrial or remote-site environmentStrong practical experience with diesel generators, including maintenance, fault-finding and controlsExperience with bore pumps, water infrastructure, pump control systems and associated electrical equipmentSound understanding of electrical maintenance, testing and fault diagnosisA robust commitment to safety, quality work and working collaboratively within a site teamThe ability to work independently, prioritise work effectively and respond calmly to breakdown situationsWhat we offer8 days on, 6 days off rosterNewman-based role supporting Iron Valley operationsVaried NPI work across power generation, water infrastructure and critical site servicesThe opportunity to work in a supportive team workplace with a robust safety focusOngoing development and exposure to a broad range of electrical assets
