We enjoy delivering a high standard of meaningful, varied work to our diverse rural communities.About the PositionGreater Hume Council is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to joinour Environment and Planning team as a Waste Attendant.Based at the Holbrook Landfill Facility, this role plays an important part in ensuring the efficient and safe operation ofCouncil's waste management services.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to members of the public, assisting with waste disposal activities, operating landfill plant and equipment and maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working independently while contributing to an essential community service.This position attracts a weekday (Monday to Friday) hourlyrate ranging from $***** to $***** plus 12% superannuation.
