The Plaza Hotel is looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly, day in and day out.
About the role
You'll be a key part of our kitchen's daily operation, supporting our chefs and keeping everything clean, organised and compliant.
Your responsibilities will include:
Dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning throughout serviceAssisting with basic food preparation as directed by the kitchen teamReceiving, checking and correctly storing deliveriesMaintaining cleanliness of coolrooms, storage areas and workstations to food safety standardsManaging rubbish and recycling, and keeping the kitchen presentable at all timesSupporting the team during busy service periods
What we're looking for
A positive attitude and solid work ethicAbility to stay calm and efficient under pressureGood attention to detail,



particularly around cleanliness and food safetyA team player who's happy to pitch in wherever neededFlexibility to work across our trading daysA current Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one)Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential — we'll train the right person
