The program provides case contracted case management services on behalf of DHHS Child protection.As the Team Leader, some of your responsibilities will include:Leading and providing support & guidance to Kinship Care team membersProviding oversight and management of service delivery ensuring staff meet program and service agreement requirementsEnsuring services delivered within professional frameworks including Best Interest Case Practice model, Looking after Children, Child Protection and DFFH StandardsOverseeing the expenditure of DFFH Client support funds and program client brokerageActively contributing to gaining client feedback and incorporating client voice into program planning and deliveryBenefits of working at UnitingOur work isn't easy, but it matters.

Psychology or a related tertiary qualification relevant to child and family welfareCurrent driver's licence valid in VictoriaDemonstrated experience in the provision of out of home care services relevant to Kinship Care as a team leader or staff supervisor.Demonstrated staff management experience including supervision, recruitment, and managing individual key performance indicators.Strong leadership and management skills and knowledge within a complex service delivery environmentExperience and/or skills in anticipating issues, developing practical solutions and delivering outcomesDemonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and in accordance with the best interest of children and young peopleAn understanding of the 'Best Interests' Case Practice Model and Children Youth and Families Act (CYFA) **** and **** amendmentsView the position description here.About UnitingAt Uniting we are passionate about working together to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice.
