Responsibilities include researching, planning, and implementing the technical portion of company projects, monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure and respond to security and other critical events.
This role is also expected to assist other system administrators with daily procedures and handling escalated or surplus incidents.There is also an expectation that the incumbent will research and seek opportunities for the on-going improvement of Redpath's IT systems.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and ProvisioningDevelop and write project scheduling and implementation plansAction project implementation in isolation or within a teamManage milestones, goals and communication within the business and IT teamWork with other departments and staff to understand project requirementsDevelop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.Contribute to and maintain system standards.Research and recommend cutting-edge, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.Operations and SupportAdministration of local and global applications servicesScope,
