Comselec Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electricians to join our growing team in Epping, VIC.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the electrical trades.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
This role is fundamental to developing the next generation of skilled electricians whilst contributing to the delivery of high-quality electrical services to our valued clients.What you'll be doingAssisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipmentLearning to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specificationsAssisting with the installation of wiring, cables, conduits, and other electrical componentsHelping to test and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify faults and issuesSupporting the secure handling and storage of electrical materials and equipmentComplying with all health and safety regulations and workplace proceduresAttending approved training courses and on-the-job instruction as part of your apprenticeshipAssisting with general site tasks and maintaining a clean and organised work environmentLearning to use hand tools, power tools, and specialised electrical testing equipment safely and correctlyContributing to a collaborative and professional team environmentWhat we're looking forCurrently undertaking or willing to commence an approved electrical apprenticeship qualification with a registered training providerYear 12 completion or equivalent educational qualificationA strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in the electrical tradesExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in workGood physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and conditionsStrong problem-solving abilities and logical thinkingReliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethicAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to health and safety in the workplaceA valid driver's licence is preferredCurrent First Aid certification or willingness to obtain itWhat we offerAt Comselec Services, we are committed to supporting the development and success of our team members.
