Workingclosely with senior ICT staff, you'll help monitor securityalerts, investigate potential threats, support incidentresponse activities and contribute to the ongoing improvementof Council's cyber security posture.
This is an excellentopportunity for someone with ICT or cyber security experiencewho enjoys problem solving, continuous learning and making ameaningful impact within a community focused organisation.What you'll be doingMonitor, investigate and triage cyber security alertsacross Council systemsSupportcyber incident response, documentation, escalation andremediation activitiesAssistwith endpoint security, device compliance andvulnerability management processesSupportidentity and access management activities including MFAand access reviewsMaintain accurate security records, reports, proceduresand awareness materialsWhat you'll need to succeedQualifications in Cyber Security, InformationTechnology, Computer Science or similarExperience in ICT support, service desk, systemsadministration or cyber security rolesKnowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments,networking and identity managementStrongdocumentation, organisational and issue escalationskillsUnderstanding of cyber security frameworks,
