This is a full-time position offering a great opportunity to work in a quick-paced retail environment, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers whilst maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety.
This role is perfect for someone who is eager to build a career in retail and the meat industry, with potential for growth and development.Key responsibilitiesProviding excellent customer service, attending to customer enquiries and assisting with product selection and purchasesPacking and preparing meat products to the highest standards, ensuring proper handling and presentationMaintaining a clean, hygienic and well-organised retail space, adhering to all food safety regulations and company standardsOperating till systems accurately and processing customer transactions securely and efficientlyRestocking shelves and displays with products, ensuring inventory is well-presented and clearly labelledFollowing all health and safety protocols,



including proper food handling procedures and personal hygiene requirementsSupporting the team during busy periods, working collaboratively to ensure smooth operationsAssisting with stock management and reporting any issues or discrepancies to managementPromoting products to customers and contributing to achieving sales targetsWhat we're looking forPrevious retail or customer service experience, ideally in a food retail or butchery environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleaguesReliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safetyPhysical capability to handle meat products and work in a fast-paced retail environmentAbility to work as part of a team and support colleagues during busy trading periodsWillingness to learn about meat products and develop product knowledgeBasic numeracy skills and experience operating till systems (preferred)Flexibility with working hours, including potential weekend and public holiday shiftsWhat we offerWe offer a competitive full-time employment package designed to support the wellbeing and development of our team members.
