You will assist our Golf Course Superintendent and team with daily preparation of the golf course.Where you'll make an impactMaintaining all course fairways, tees, greens and rough areasAppling fertilizers as directed by the supervisor, including maintaining a log of applicationAssisting with course irrigationMaintaining oil, fuel and fluid levels for all types of grounds-keeping machineryWe are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening or a similar outdoor role (preferred)Manual Driver Licence (essential)A willingness to learn and follow instructionsGood communication and teamwork skillsExperience operating landscaping or groundskeeping equipment (highly regarded)Chemical Handling Certificate (highly regarded but not essential)Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder-filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.Every team member plays a role in shaping those experiences – making Hamilton Island not just a great place to visit, but a great place to work.
