We are seeking a hands‐on Operator Maintainer with a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification to join our tailings reclamation and reprocessing team.
This is a physically active, site‐based role combining mobile plant operation with practical mechanical maintenance support in a fast‐paced mining environment.Role OverviewIn this role, you will operate key equipment used in tailings reprocessing while also carrying out day‐to‐day mechanical maintenance and breakdown support across the circuit.
You will be directly involved in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently, supporting production targets and recovery performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate mobile and fixed plant equipment including skid steers and tailings delivery systemsSupport operation of tailings cannons and associated pipeline infrastructureCarry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and basic repairs on pumps, pipelines, and ancillary equipmentAssist with installation, relocation, and stripping of pipework and pumping systemsPerform preventative maintenance tasks and contribute to shutdown activitiesEnsure safe work practices, compliance with site procedures, and high housekeeping standardsSupport barricading, set‐up,
