Medical Receptionist - specialist orthopaedic practiceOur orthopaedic surgery practice, at Hurstville, is looking for an experienced, reliable medical receptionist to join our busy practice.
This is a part time position, 28 hrs/weekThe position involves all work necessary for hospital admission of our surgical patients, including dealing with surgery cost estimates, hospital admissions process and surgery billing.Positive working knowledge of AMA, Medicare, DVA & health fund rebate schemes is essentialGood working knowledge of the WorkCover process for patients covered under this schemeExcellent communication skills - you will be dealing with a multiple number of private hospitals admission offices and their admission processes, and,



with multiple practitioner and allied health offices.Essential Personal Requirements:Previous experience as a Medical receptionist is essentialGood command of the English language, both written and spokenAble to work as part of a team and independently as requiredAbility to prioritize and multi-taskPrevious experience using Shexie is an advantage.Hours of work: 28 hrs/wk.
