This person must be a passionate and caring Support Worker to join our team in St Marys, NSW.
This is a casual position that will see you providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients with disabilities, ensuring they can live independently and with dignity.What you'll be doingProviding personal care and support with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeepingAccompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community eventsAssisting with mobility, transfers and the use of equipment as neededMonitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concernsAdvocating for clients and collaborating with allied health professionalsPromoting independence, choice and control for our clientsProviding PEG feeding support in accordance with participant support plans, training, and organisational policiesAvailability to work a rotating roster including day shifts, afternoon shifts, weekends, public holidays, and inactive sleepover shiftsWhat we're looking forCertificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care or a related field is a must for this position.Experience in providing person-centred support to people with disabilities,



mental health conditions or complex needsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clientsPatience, empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of othersA current driver's licence and your own vehicle (desirable)This position requires a High Physical Support PersonA positive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamWhat we offerWe are committed to providing a supportive and adaptable work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
