Monday to Friday position, 10AM STARTConsistent weekday hoursOngoing long-term employmentAPG Workforce is seeking an experienced Cleaner to join a leading seafood processing facility in Morningside, QLD.This is a great prospect for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for stable Monday-to-Friday day shift work in a busy food processing environment.You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation throughout the seafood processing facility.The role also involves regular manual handling and moving machine parts and equipment weighing 15 kg or more, so applicants must be comfortable and physically capable of safely performing these duties.Duties Include:Cleaning seafood processing and production areasCleaning and sanitising machinery, equipment, floors,
walls and workstationsMoving and handling machine parts and equipment as requiredRegular manual handling of items weighing 15 kg+Assisting with seafood processing and general production activitiesPacking seafood products in a wet and cold processing environmentFollowing strict food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirementsMaintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all timesWhat we're looking for:Previous cleaning experience in a food manufacturing, seafood processing or industrial environmentStrong understanding of hygiene and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced processing environmentComfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 5-10°C)Good attention to detailReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to follow workplace procedures and safety requirementsReliable transportAvailability to work Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
